Alt-metal outfit Alter Bridge announced short tour across U.S. The trek starts October 4 by appearance at "Louder Than Life" festival in Louisville (KY), includes 13 dates and wraps up October 26 by show in Los Angeles (CA). More concerts possibly will be announced later. The band will perform in Detroit, Lancaster, St. Louis, Denver, Seattle, San Francisco, and in some other markets. Alter Bridge's latest album "Fortress" was released last September, and spawned singles "Cry of Achilles", "Addicted to Pain", and "Waters Rising". Currently the band consists of Myles Kennedy, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall, and Scott Phillips.
