Comedy duo Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong are continuing their reunion tour through 2009 and have recently added fresh dates to their "Light Up America" tour. The 2009 tour started off at Nashville, TN on January 9 and continues all the way until early April. The tours visits a number of cities across the US and Canada including Cleveland (OH), Miami Beach (FL), Bossier City (LA), Calgary (Alberta), Winnipeg (Manitoba), Santa Rosa (CA), San Antonio (TX) and ends at the Florida Theatre in Jacksonville (FL).

The duo has reunited since their split in the 80's caused by creative differences. Before the break, the duo had been immensely successful and in their career which spans from 1972 to 1985, they have released 9 comedy albums along with 8 feature films, including the box office hit 'Up in Smokes' which was released in 1978. Previous attempts at reunion hadn't worked out very well, but this tour seems promising.
