Guitar legend Eric Clapton reunited with Steve Winwood to give three concerts in New York's Madison Square Garden on February 25, 26, and 28. Former bandmates already performed together at this summer's Crossroads Guitar Festival at Chicago, and decided to continue playing together. Clapton, and Winwood were members of supergroup Blind Faith which was formed in 1969, and included also Ginger Baker, and Ric Grech. Clapton said to the press about upcoming concerts: "I have wanted to play with Steve for a long time. I consider him a friend and a truly gifted musician. Our set at the Crossroads Festival this summer was a real treat, so I expect these shows will be good fun for us and for the fans."
