In 1997, Canadian singer and songwriter, Sarah McLaughlin, went on tour with many other female artists and female-led bands. The tour took place again in the summer of 1998 and 1999, with different artists always joining. It saw over ten years before Lilith Fair would once grace audiences around the world, but it was announced via Twitter in April 2009, McLaughlin was to round up some more great female talent and take her show once again on the road. Lilith Fair 2010 will travel around Britain and Europe for two weeks before coming to North America in late June and touring in many different cities until the end of August.
