American metal group Mastodon just heralded fall 2014 North American tour to back their new release Once More 'Round the Sun'. The trek consisting of 18 dates kicks off October 15 by show in Boise (Idaho), and wraps up November 7 with concert in Atlanta (GA). Mastodon will visit Phoenix, Austin, Dallas, Kansas City, Portland, Nashville, and other markets. Gojira and Kvelertak are announced as opening acts for the trek. New group's album Once More 'Round the Sun' hit shelves June 24th, 2014, debuted number six on The Billboard 200, and sold 34,000 copies in its first week. The album spawned singles "High Road", and "Chimes at Midnight". Current band's line-up is Troy Sanders (bass guitar), Brent Hinds (guitar), Bill Kelliher (guitar), and Brann Dailor (drums).
