The heavy-metal band Mastodon continues touring U.S. during the spring 2009. The trek began on April 10 with concert in Birmingham, AL. In the remainder of the tour group will visit Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Atlanta, and some other cities. Full U.S. part of tour itinerary is below. And in summer Mastodon goes to Europe.

The band is supporting its latest studio album - Crack the Skye - released in the 24th of March. The record is being produced by Brendan O'Brien and is a collection of seven songs. The record ends with the all time favorite ‘The Last Baron’, which lasts for 15 minutes, described as an achievement by the band.
