Nickel Creek Announced Spring 2007 Tour

Bluegrass band Nickel Creek mapped out dates of US spring 2007 tour. The trek, listed below, consists of 19 dates, kicks off April 12 in Savannah (GA), and wraps up May 12 with concert in Salt Lake City (UT). Tickets are on sale. Also the band plans appearances in the festivals: Coachella (April 27), Stagecoach (May 5), and Four Corners Folk Festival (September 2). These shows may become the last outfit's performances. Earlier the trio - Chris Thile, Sara Watkins, and Sean Watkins - announced that they desided temporarily to stop the project. Last Nickel Creek's album Why Should the Fire Die? has been released in 2005, was nominated for the 2006 Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album.
