Hard Rock outfit Queens of the Stone Age (aka QOTSA) is starting US tour in summer 2007. First leg will avoid big cities with the aim to reach band's fans in smaller towns. The trek kicks off July 22 in Costa Mesa (CA). Current Queens of the Stone Age's tour itinerary lists 16 dates up to the middle of August. Band will hit Duluth (MN), Indianapolis (IN), Louisville (KY), Memphis (TN), Tulsa (OK), Oklahoma City (OK), and other towns. New outfit's studio album Era Vulgaris has been released in May. Current Queens of the Stone Age members are Joshua Homme (vocals, lead guitar), Joey Castillo (drums), Troy Van Leeuwen (rhythm guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), Michael Shuman (bass, backing vocals), Dean Fertita (keyboards, rhythm guitar, backing vocals).
