The heavy metal band Slipknot announced dates for its new tour, which began in Sheffield, UK on the 12th of December. The tour continues in 2009 with shows lined up in Kansas, Madison, Redmont, New York, Houston, Ontario and so on. The trek will end in March with a grand performance at ARCO Arena in Sacramento on the 11th of March.
The group which was formed in Iowa has remained unchanged over the last nine years, with each member wearing a unique mask of his own. The tour will see them promote their latest album, ‘All Hope is Gone’, which is the fourth studio set of the group and was released in August earlier this year.
