Slipknot, heavy metal guys from Iowa, who never take off horrifying masks, are prepared for North American tour which starts late October 2014. The band also just announced U.K. outing in the beginning of 2015. Slipknot is touring in support of their upcoming studio album ".5: The Gray Chapter" scheduled for release on October 20. North American trek kicks off with Knotfest on October 25, 26 in Devore, CA, where Slipknot are headliners. Up to early December the group will give concerts in El Paso, TX, Dallas, TX, San Antonio, TX, Oklahoma City, OK, Denver, CO, Kansas City, MO, Toronto, ON, and in some other markets. Korn is announced as support. European leg starts in January 2015 in U.K. where Slipknot will perform in several cities, and then the band continues touring with gigs in Paris, Amsterdam, Budapest, Stockholm, Helsinki, and in some other European cities. Current band members are Shawn Crahan, Craig Jones, Mick Thomson, Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson, Chris Fehn, and Jim Root.
