The Decemberists have announced an extension of their summer "A Short Fazed Hovel" tour. The tour kicked off on August 1, at the Newport Folk Festival in Newport, (RI). The new dates added begin September 20 and extend till mid October. Cities being visited in this extended tour include Nashville (TN), Orlando (FL) and Houston (TX). The trek finally winds up on October 18, at Treasure Island Music Festival in San Francisco, (CA). The band is promoting their latest album, "The Hazards of Love." This album is the band's fifth studio release and debuted at No. 14 on The Billboard 200. It features a number of guest appearances including Lavender Diamond's Becky Stark and My Brightest Diamond's Shara Worden, who will share the stage with the Decemberists on this tour. The album also features Robyn Hitchcock, Rebecca Gates and Jim James.
