British alt-rockers, Coldplay started a rather hectic tour of North America this year. The tour kicked off in West Palm Beach (FL), on May 15 and hits 40 cities in the US and Canada including Saratoga Springs (NY), New Orleans (LA), Vancouver (British Columbia) and Liberty State Park (NJ) before winding down at Tampa (FL) on August 9. The highlight of the tour is that Grammy Award winning band is giving away a free live CD, "LeftRightLeftRightLeft," free of charge to all fans who attend their concerts. The opening acts in the tour are lined up by Pete Yorn, Snow Patrol, Amadou & Mariam, Elbow, Howling Bells and Kitty Daisy & Lewis. Coldplay's latest album, "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends," released last year was such a wildfire hit, it topped charts in 36 countries.
