Evanescence kicked off Canada-US tour in Fall 2006

Alternative rock band Evanescence from Arkansas launched fall tour. They started with 2 concerts in Ontario, Quebec and now move to US to give concerts in 14 cities in October. Frontwoman Amy Lee said on a teleconference call: "‚¬??The past few months have just been promo, doing interviews, running around, and the fact that we"‚¬"re on the brink of going on tour and make music the focus again is really exciting"‚¬??. Current Amy Lee's bandmates are Rocky Gray (drums), John Lecompt (guitar), Terry Balsamo (guitar), and Tim McCord (bass). Their latest album The Open Door released in US on 3rd October. Evanescence's album Fallen became multi-platinum. Also in 2003 Evanescence received Grammy awards for Best New Artist and Best Hard Rock Performance (sigle Bring Me to Life from Fallen CD).
