Opeth Is Touring Across U.S. and Canada This Fall

Swedish heavy metal outfit Opeth mapped out North American tour in the middle of fall 2016. The trek dubbed "Sorceress" begins September 24 by appearance at Ozzfest in San Bernardino, CA, lists 22 dates, with final show on October 26 in Vancouver's Orpheum. Band makes stops in Pittsburgh, PA, New York, NY, Boston, MA, Toronto, ON (2-day stay), Houston, TX, Las Vegas, NV, San Francisco, CA, and in other cities (see concert itinerary below). The Sword is announced as support. After that Opeth returns to Europe and gives concerts in Cologne, Germany, and London, UK in November. "Sorceress", Opeth's upcoming studio album, will be released this fall. Band members are Mikael Ã…kerfeldt, MartÃn MÃ©ndez, Martin Axenrot, Fredrik Ã…kesson, and Joakim Svalberg.

Epica is Touring North America in Fall 2016

Dutch symphonic metal outfit Epica is embarking on North American tour in fall 2016. The trek starts November 4 by concert in Quebec City's Imperial Du Quebec, and ends up December 3 by show in Worcester's The Palladium. Tour itinerary consists of 22 dates and includes Montreal, QC, Toronto, ON, San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA, Las Vegas, NV, Baltimore, MD, New York, NY, and many other markets. Fleshgod Apocalypse, Arkona and The Agonist are announced as support. The band wrote on its website about the upcoming jaunt: "The time has finally come to visit North America again. We are super excited to show you guys our kick-ass new material of which we are extremely proud!" Epica is touring in support of upcoming studio album "The Holographic Principle", to be released September 30. Band line-up is Mark Jansen, Coen Janssen, Simone Simons, AriÃ«n van Weesenbeek, Isaac Delahaye, and Rob van der Loo.

The outing kicks off January 15 by show in Pittsburgh's Stage AE, includes 18 dates, and ends up February 12 by concert in Hollywood, CA. Lamb of God will make stops also in Orlando, FL, London, ON, San Antonio, TX, Oklahoma City, OK, Rapid City, SD, Knoxville, TN, Minneapolis, MN, and in some other towns. Thrash metal group Anthrax is announced as support. More special guests will be announced later. Lamb of God's latest studio album "VII: Sturm und Drang" hit stores last July. The trek kicks off January 7 by show in San Jose's Rockbar Theater, lists 24 stops, and wraps up February 27 by concert in Pompano Beach's Pompano Beach Amphitheater. Among other cities Queensryche will visit Las Vegas, NV, Dallas, TX, Houston, TX, Philadelphia, PA, Washington, DC, Chicago, IL, and Denver, CO. In late February the band is also taking part in "Monsters Of Rock Cruise - Shredders From The Deepâ€ which departs from Maiami, FL, and features also Tesla, Steve Vai, Helloween, and some other performers. British hard rockers Def Leppard just added winter/spring 2016 U.S. tour leg. The jaunt starts with 'Hysteria On The High Seas' four-day cruise (January 21-25) with the band playing on board. Elegant MSC Divina departs from Miami, FL, and will make stops at several beautiful Caribbean islands. Then Def Leppard continues the trek on the mainland by giving concerts up to late February. Guys will visit Orlando, FL, San Antonio, TX, Uncasville, CT, Atlantic City, NJ, Brooklyn, NY, and some other places. Tesla, and Styx are announced as support for these dates. Def Leppard spends remainder of 2015 by travelling through Japan, Australia, and U.K. The band is touring to promote their self-titled album which hits stores October 30. Heavy metal veterans Iron Maiden will start their "The Book Of Souls" world tour with North American leg early 2016. The jaunt now comprises nine shows from late February to mid April and includes performances in Las Vegas, NV, New York, NY, Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, and other cities. The Raven Age is announced as support. Canadian dates will be published also soon. During the tour band is travelling around the world on their Boeing 747, piloted by vocalist Bruce Dickinson. Iron Maiden's sixteenth studio work "The Book of Souls" surfaced last September. The album peaked number 4 on US Billboard 200 albums chart. Video of album's first single "Speed Of Light" was publish in the middle of August, and already reached 7 million views on YouTube.

Tour itinerary comprises 33 dates including stops in Portland, OR, Vancouver, BC, Calgary, AB, Chicago, IL, Toronto, ON, New York, NY, Boston, MA,- Philadelphia, PA, and Los Angeles, CA. After North American leg band goes to Europe to perform in Berlin, Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Paris, London, and in other European cites. Parkway Drive's fifth studio work "Ire" hit stores September 25. The album spawned singles "Vice Grip", "Crushed", and "The Sound of Violence". Finnish symphonic metal outfit Nightwish, who is currently busy touring around the globe, had already plotted out U.S./Canada shows for winter/spring 2016. The remainder of 2015 band is giving concerts in South America and in Europe. North American leg begins February 19 by performance in Sayreville's Starland Ballroom, comprises 27 dates, and wraps up March 23 by concert in Tampa's The Ritz Ybor. Nightwish will visit Montreal, QC, Columbus, OH, Milwaukee, W, Calgary, AB, Tucson, AZ (two-day stay), San Antonio, TX, New Orleans, LA, and some other towns. Nightwish is touring in support of their 8th studio album "Endless Forms Most Beautiful" released last March. Band's members are Tuomas Holopainen, Emppu Vuorinen, Jukka Nevalainen, Marco Hietala, Troy Donockley, and Floor Jansen.

Metalcore outfit Underoath, which reunited this summer, heralded spring 2016 North American tour dates. The trek dubbed "Rebirth Tour" kicks off March 16 by show in Saint Petersburg's Jannus Live and wraps up April 24 by performance in Orlando's Hard Rock Cafe. Concert itinerary consisting of 31 dates lists Houston, TX, Tulsa, OK, San Antonio, TX, Las Vegas, NV, Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, New York, NY, and many other cities. Underoath will play material from their two albums "Theyre Only Chasing Safety", and "Define the Great Line". Lead vocalist Spencer Chamberlain said in interview to Alternative Press "I hated the idea of Underoath being 'over' and I'm not sure what we are, but we are all friends again and that's really the most important thing. That being said, we felt like now is a great time to do a tour and celebrate Define The Great Line turning 10." Hard rockers Shinedown and Breaking Benjamin rolled out joint fall 2105 U.S. tour. The outing kicks off October 16 by concert at Wichita's Intrust Bank Arena, lists 24 dates and wraps up November 24 by performance at Portland's Cross Insurance Arena. Bands will make stops in Lubbock, TX, Las Vegas, NV, Salt Lake City, UT, Knoxville, TN, Nashville, TN, Uncasville, CT, Huntington, WV, and in many other towns. Shinedown is promoting its upcoming album "Threat To Survival" which in due out September 18. Breaking Benjamin is touring in support of its fifth studio work "Dark Before Dawn" released this June. The trek kicks off October 16 by concert in Paso Robles, CA, and wraps up November 12 by performance in Toronto's Air Canada Centre. The outing inculdes stops in Las Vegas, NV, San Francisco, CA, San Jose, CA, Regina, SK, Winnipeg, MB, and Huntington, NY. Latest Judas Priest's studio album "Redeemer of Souls" was released last year. Current band members are Ian Hill, Rob Halford, Glenn Tipton, Scott Travis, and Richie Faulkner. Mastodon's sixth studio work "Once More 'Round the Sun" appeared in 2014 too, and spawned singles "High Road", "Chimes at Midnight", and "The Motherload".

Alt-metal outfit Faith No More just kicked off North American concert tour to support upcoming album. It's great news for band's fans who waited 18 year for this to happen. Trek's first leg spans to mid May and lists Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Toronto, and New York among other cities. After that Faith No More goes overseas to perform in Europe. Second North American leg begins July 26 by show in Austin's Music Hall, and concludes by appearance at Heavy Montreal festival on August 7-9. Band's upcoming studio album "Sol Invictus" is scheduled for release on May 19. Current Faith No More members are Mike Bordin, Roddy Bottum, Billy Gould, Mike Patton, and Jon Hudson.
