Madonna launched her 2008 North American tour over the weekend at East Rutherford, New Jersey. The tour will go on through US, Canada and Mexico, finally concluding at the end of November. Madonna tour is a comprehensively planned one and the production includes a vast number of technical props, wardrobe designed by top of the line designers and a huge travelling entourage.

The Material Girl, whose name was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year, is the best-selling female artist of the twentieth century.
